TotalEnergies Partner of the 50th Anniversary Edition of the 24h Race at the Nürburgring

Berlin 27.05.2022

In its now 50th edition, this year's anniversary event of the traditional ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Race at the Nürburgring have started on 26 May 2022. The Qualifiers have already taken place from 6 to 8 May.

"We are delighted to be part of this legendary race again this year and to help celebrate its 50th anniversary," said Christian Cabrol, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Deutschland GmbH. TotalEnergies has already been the name sponsor of the endurance race in the Eifel since 2019. In addition, the multi-energy company is currently a partner of the major international endurance races at Le Mans in France and Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Thus, TotalEnergies accompanies the three most important 24h races in Europe as a partner. Behind this commitment is not only enthusiasm for racing, for performance, for team spirit, but also a great tradition.

At the beginning of 2020, the company also further expanded its commitment at the Nürburgring: As a fuel partner, TotalEnergies supplies the racing teams, the Nürburgring fleet and all fans who fill up at the filling station in the paddock with its carbon compensated premium fuel EXCELLIUM all year round. In addition, the company provides technical support for the refueling stations with its own team for the entire duration of the race.

The multi-energy company is also planning to provide alternative forms of energy in the foreseeable future. The company intends to install charging stations for battery-powered vehicles at two locations near the race track and thus contribute to carbon-free mobility.
