TOTAL expands Bavarian fuel station network

Six fuel stations from the Breintner COMPANY in eastern Bavaria will be joining forces with TOTAL as of April 2015

Deutschland GmbH expands its footprint in the south German fuel station market. As part of a new partnership with Breintner Mineralöl GmbH & Co. KG from Mühldorf am Inn, six fuel stations that belong to this family company will be adorning the TOTAL colours.

Breintner is a traditional company that has stood for customer proximity and service since 1979. TOTAL's contribution is a new fuel station design and modern concepts with an attractive range of services.

The managing director and partner of Breintner Mineralöl GmbH & Co. KG, Dietmar Breintner, welcomes this new cooperation: "In TOTAL we have found a dynamic partner with a high-quality range of products and services who focuses on satisfied customers and is also very dealer-friendly. Our 55 employees look forward to working successfully with TOTAL in the future."

“Breintner Mineralöl is an attractive partner for us that fits well into our service concept and our customer proximity approach," explains the general manager of TOTAL Deutschland GmbH, Hans-Christian Gützkow. "Reliable partners well rooted in their region are part of our successful growth strategy in Germany."

Modern fuel station design and sense of well-being for an attractive range of services for drivers

The TOTAL fuel stations in this economically strong region are located in Mühldorf (x2), Eggenfelden, Niederaudorf, Samerberg and Massing. A further fuel station in Waldkraiburg will join The Group at the end of the year.

In its recent past TOTAL initially expanded its presence in the region with flagship projects. Last summer TOTAL opened the first Autohof on the A94 at the Mühldorf-Nord junction in cooperation with 24-Autobahn-Raststätten GmbH. Also, new TOTAL fuel stations joined the network in Landshut and Regensburg over the past few months.

TOTAL has a fuel card for commercial customers which is accepted at more than 4,400 TOTAL fuel stations in Germany, but also at Avia, Shell, Westfalen and a number of other non-brand fuel stations. TOTAL operates more than 1,150 fuel stations nationwide and is one of the leading suppliers in the German market.

In addition to high-quality fuels and motor oils, TOTAL also focuses on modern service concepts in line with the company's mission 'Drop in and recharge your batteries!' (Auftanken und wohlfühlen). This applies to the car wash and to the attractive shop and bistro ('Café bonjour') with strong brand partners like Lavazza in the coffee sector.
